Membership to the Global Leadership League is open to those who are invested in advancing leadership skills in the field of international education. We welcome international education professionals of all levels and genders who are dedicated to this cause. We encourage individuals, managers, organizations, and allies who are interested to consider membership at the individual, group or Advocate level. Okay, but…What do I get as a member that non-members don’t have access to?

There are distinct benefits to being a member. We have created easy-to-access programs for our members both online and in person.  We strive to be current with our program topics and engage professionals outside our field to elevate discussions.   Our Advocate group membership is the first of its kind offering UNLIMITED memberships for anyone in the organization.  And, unlike other group memberships, those who join through your group are treated as individuals and have immediate and easy access to all programs without needing an organizational administrator to pass along information.

For all members, here is a list of what your small investment will provide for you:

• Free Webinars – offered approximately 4 times per year
• Free Mentor Circle Programs– offered at least 3 times per year for a appx. 4 month interval
• Free The Chat Boxes - a vibrant online discussion offered every few weeks online
• Free Career Connections Programs – sign up to be supported or to support others, offered twice per year
• Free access to League resources including articles, Sophia Confidential (In the Vault), rare interviews from the field (Limelight Series), and opportunity to contribute and be seen on our upcoming kudos wall (On Fire)
• Discounted entry to League Signature events (typically offered with a guest speaker & food/bev)
• Meet other like-minded individuals when you select your Affinity Group(s) on your membership application. 

I saw this note about Affinity Groups… what are these?

Once you become a member, you can also join one or more of our Affinity Groups. These are communities designed to bring together League members with like interests, concerns and needs. This is not a separate membership category but rather a way for us to connect you to like minded people. The Affinity Groups include:

• Early Career Professionals
• New to Management
• LGBT+
• Parents Raising Children
• Supporting Aging Parents
• Professionals working outside the USA (different regions)
• Professionals of Color
• SIO & Senior Leaders

How do I volunteer to be part of the amazing group?

Our organization is thriving, growing and building upon its foundation. We would love to add more volunteers to our mix and invite you to put your name into our pool of interested volunteers. Submit your interest by writing to info@globalleadershipleague.org. As we establish new positions we will reach out to this interested group.
