Amplify International Women’s Day (IWD) on 8 March with the Global Leadership League!

  • By RSVP to this event, you are indicating your interest to host a local event in honor of International Women's Day. Events are casual, often a meet-up format, with your friends, colleagues etc. It only takes a minute to decide on a location and put it to your networks!

We are inviting League members to gather on Friday, 8 March to celebrate our achievements as part of the 2019 IWD theme, #BalanceforBetter – better the balance, better the world.

Our goal is to have League local events around the world and around the clock, and we are inviting international educators to welcome colleagues and friends to share in this global celebration. Gather together for a cup of tea, clink a glass or invite colleagues to attend a local IWD event. Be sure to share a photo on social media channels with #LinkUpWithTheLeague, #LeagueLadyLove and #BalanceforBetter.

For every ten events planned before March 1, the Global Leadership League will make a donation to the Global Girls Alliance, which seeks to empower adolescent girls around the world through education.

Just RSVP to this event if you will gather a group and we will send you an email with further instructions, including a forwardable link to distribute on local networks and listservs for attendees to register.
