The Global Leadership League is excited to announce our first Think Tank for senior women leaders, on the eve of the NAFSA Annual Conference! 

We believe global educators at all ages, levels and challenges need a safe place to explore and grow in their leadership skills. In an effort to spark new thinking and spirited dialogue around challenges and opportunities facing women in SIO/Executive roles, members of our Executive Board have personally nominated women leaders from around the world for our first Think Tank.

This intimate conversation will be limited to 30 participants and facilitated by Dr. Jill Blondin, Interim Senior International Officer, Virginia Commonwealth University and Malaika Serrano, Associate Vice President, University Partnerships, International Studies Abroad.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful host, CET Academic Programs, for providing a wonderful space for our conversation.

Together, we look forward to identifying opportunities for the League to offer solutions and support for both SIOs/Executives and their teams.

Our members come from different backgrounds, abilities, levels of experience, and parts of the world. Our goal is to embrace this diversity and encourage relationships across generations and experience levels for the benefit of all involved. 

The Global Leadership League was started by a group of women in the field of international education for the purposes of advancing women’s leadership skills, knowledge, and connections.
