The League ChatBox is a new program offered online for small groups to engage and discuss important issues. Get answers, share ideas, learn together.
Recently, we have all seen and experienced the huge shift in how our personal and professional communication takes place, with on-mass movement to online platforms.
Have you experienced?
- ‘Zoom fatigue’
- a lack of energy in meetings
- an uncertainty of how to express our ideas within this environment
You may be finding you are simply trying to copy online what took place, or worked, within a traditional office space. Has this made you question, how do I fire up the energy of this online meeting, or just within myself?
In this ChatBox session, Dr Marta Hawkins will draw upon her research on creativity and her recent experience of teaching children online, to engage us in a discussion on how we can invigorate and animate our professional presence on the screen with the use of our somatic creativity and symbolic props. Being a reflective professional today involves considering not just a reflection of our image online, but, more importantly, the use of symbolic performativity for the screen with a specific purpose in mind. In this discussion, we will learn that whatever the purpose of such gathering is, you can spark energy, and make it a meaningful and compassionate experience for others.
