The League ChatBox is a new program offered online for small groups to engage and discuss important issues.  Get answers, share ideas, learn together.

The last year has brought about many changes in how we work within our industry, as well as the opportunities that are available to us. Our word for this year is ‘Transformative’, and in this Chat Box session we want to consider how you might be transforming, or may have already transformed, your career through the lens of change and transition.

We have the pleasure of welcoming Sam Cooper to join us for this session, who will share some of her experiences over the last year within her career. Shine light on the decisions she has had to make, and spoiler, help us unpack what it takes to start a new role in a completely virtual environment.

 Depending on the size of the group this session will include breakout rooms for more individual discussion time.

 SPEAKERS/FACILITATOR(S):

Samantha Cooper is currently Placements and Business Engagement Manager at the University of Roehampton, where she started in 2020. In a year of taking on new challenges Sam also took on the role of Internship Coach and Trainer for the Global Pro Institute, at  Inside Study Abroad. Her experience supporting students and young professionals to explore their early career experiences has given Sam great personal and professional insight into how we can transition roles and companies, and ways to do this successfully.
