This practical Chat Box session will encourage us to refresh the mindset, share successes with intentionality, and build community through how we articulate opportunities and accomplishments. We’ll touch on the team, the department, and the individual to make sure you come away with some ready-made soundbites for the next time you’re in the lift/elevator/virtual waiting room with a colleague or leadership.

Amy Bass Henry is the Executive Director of International Education and a longtime “Yellow Jacket”, having worked at the Georgia Institute of Technology for 25 years. She has degrees from the College of William and Mary and Georgia Tech. She has served in various advisory and leadership roles in international education including as a trainer for NAFSA: Association of International Educators’ Management Development Program, as a member of the Executive Committee for the Global Engineering Education Exchange Consortium, as part of the Conference Planning Committee for the International Engineering Colloquium, and on the Executive Committee of the League.

LEAGUE CO-HOST: Katie Lander is Head of Partnerships (UK) for InternMatch International. Over the last 10 years she’s worked across the Education sector, from HR & Careers within UK Universities, to leading London Internships for Study Abroad at CAPA: The Global Education Network. She has most recently transitioned back to focusing on the UK, whilst continuing to work with international students and facilitating global partnerships for programmes and internships. Katie has previously been on the board for AASAP/UK and has enjoyed working closely with members of the League to grow the Chat Box programme.
