Many of us know a colleague or friend who has moved to an EdTech company in the last few years. And you may be curious - what is it like to pivot out of .edu or global education to work for a rapidly expanding sector which supports learning, recruitment and operations?

Join our three panelists for your own EdTech informational interview. Hear their professional journey, what they love about their new roles, miss from their previous ones, and what are the transferable skills. This 60 minute session will include one breakout, and mirroring the EdTech workplace culture, we’ll ask participants to turn their cameras on.

Tyler D’Andrea is a passionate doer dedicated to increasing student access to transformative global experiences. For 16 years, he's supported institutions’ study abroad programming and operations as a key member of CIEE’s Institutional Relations team, and joined Podium Education's Partnerships team in July 2021. Over his career, Tyler has partnered with hundreds of colleges and universities, and with student outcomes as his North Star, is happiest collaborating with institutions to innovate and implement change aligned with shared visions, missions, and goals.

Emily Caskey spent six years working in education abroad as a Study Abroad Advisor and Program Manager. She pivoted to EdTech during the pandemic, where she's learning to code and supporting Computer Science teachers! Outside of work, Emily can be found traveling, taking care of her plans, cooking, baking, and spending time with her husband and their cats and dogs.

Katie Landeris Head of Partnerships (UK) for InternMatch International. Over the last 10 years she’s worked across the Education sector, from HR & Careers within UK Universities, to leading London Internships for Study Abroad at CAPA: The Global Education Network.
