League Lasso: Writing Conference Proposals with The Forum on Education Abroad

Join the League Lasso quarterly program to hone your skills in writing superior conference proposals. Learn how to develop your topic, find co-presenters, and craft a proposal specific to the conference you want to attend. Participants will learn what to do and what not to do to get that proposal accepted! The League Lasso will be from 9am-10am ET, including an opportunity for Q&A. The Zoom room will stay open after 10am for anyone who would like to stay and connect further.

About the League Lasso:
The League Lasso, launched in 2021, offers quarterly programs to support writing development, and skill-building for a variety of genres. The League Lasso is a trusted space for League members to inspire, create, and share their writings with others.

Elizabeth works with Forum Conference Committees to develop programming that engages globally minded educators in learning and development experiences that improve practice, build capacity, and leverage collective expertise for the benefit of the education abroad field. She presents regularly on topics related to best practice in education abroad. She also directs Forum Consulting services and leads resource development and sustainability initiatives.

Emily is Conference Chair for the Forum on Education Abroad Annual Conference 2004. She has reviewed conference proposals and poster presentations for many different conferences throughout her eighteen years in the field. She herself has had countless conference proposals accepted, rejected, or “posterized.”
